ABOUT ME
Hello! I’m Kerry Doyle. I’ve loved art since I was a kid, always drawing and painting whenever I had the chance. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Art in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, where I honed my skills and deepened my appreciation for visual creativity. After spending many years living in the city, my family and I moved to Marin County in 2018, and we truly enjoy the natural beauty and peaceful surroundings here. I’m deeply passionate about graphic design, watercolor, typography, and surface design, constantly exploring new ways to blend these elements. My favorite tools to work with are watercolor paints, my iPad Pro, and my laptop, which help me bring my ideas to life across different mediums. I find endless inspiration in nature, music, photography, fashion trends, and children’s book illustrations, which all fuel my creative process.
Paper Dahlia began back in 2008 as a small, dedicated studio focused primarily on creating custom wedding stationery. Over the years, the business has evolved significantly, and I now mainly collaborate with major retailers such as Minted, West Elm, Simply To Impress, Photo Affections, and Zazzle. While stationery remains at the heart of what I do, I have expanded my creative output to include fine art, detailed illustrations, and unique surface designs. My work has been recognized and featured in well-known magazines including Real Simple, HGTV Magazine, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Town & Country, which has been an exciting milestone in my artistic journey.
